Environmental benefits

Jon Haebig supports the
Community UCC solar Array Project
to honor one of his family's favorite places -
the Johnson Mill Preserve,
created by the Triangle Land Conservancy.
The Preserve is located just north of Chapel Hill.
Each year the solar array should generate about 10,000 kWh of power.

This will prevent  burning of 3 tons of coal, and remove 7 tons of CO2 from the air each year.

We used these Environmental Protection Agency resources for our calculations.
